Textile design for coffee bar MOK in Brussels.
Klaartje drew inspiration from the coffee product for the design of this collection of cushions and household textiles; for example, you will find the shapes of coffee beans and berries. But also from the surroundings of the Dansaert district where the coffee bar is located, images and form are reflected. In addition, the designs also contain references to the MOK logo with the circle and triangle.
The main tones of mint green, orange and burgundy bring us to an exotic and warm coffee plantation at sunset and offer a nice contrast with the sleek interior of the building.
The fabrics she used for this collection are velvet, marbled velvet and a mix of polyester and linen.
